The winner being TEAM KUWAIT GW collecting a brand new Volkswagen car for his owner Ali Hussain of Orlando Florida, a big thank you goes to the breeder of this winner, Graham Warman from Stocksbridge Lofts with his super family of M & D. Evans pigeons, this bird is now 2nd in the Ace pigeon Standings and Graham also bred the 3rd Ace bird for Nabeel Albaker of Kuwait, Graham really has done the Kuwait guys proud with the birds he supplied to go on the ten Kuwait rings he did not even get until the middle of April!

Also house a selection of birds direct from Koen Minderhoud, Arguably the best racer and breeder of the Vandenabeele strain in the whole of the Netherlands. These direct Koen Minderhoud pigeons are on loan from my very good friends Mark & Dick Evans.
The bloodlines of the Koen Minderhoud family came to Myrtle Lofts in the year 2000 when Mark and Dick were looking world wide seeking to purchase some more top Vandenabeele pigeons to cross into their own family. Mark and Dick’s opinion is the best of the direct Vandenabeeles were bred between 1985 and 1995, so Mark made inquires at 28 different lofts around Europe who he knew had required pigeons direct from Gaby between that period. After studying results and information received by post or by fax Mark and Dick made plans to visit 16 lofts in Belgium, Germany and Holland. This venture cost over £3,500 in travelling and lodging expenses, an amount Mark and Dick were prepared to pay to ensure they obtained the best.
On Mark and Dicks travels they admit they met some top class fanciers and handled many outstanding performance pigeons, but from them all Koen Minderhoud from the Netherlands had without doubt the best Vandenabeele stock Mark and Dick had seen in all the 16 loft visits. Dick quoted Koen Minderhoud to him is as honest and as genuine as they come and is pleased Mark and himself can work together with Koen to ensure they keep the very best of the Vandenabeele lines. I myself have studied the stock at Mark and Dick’s loft and also the stock at Koen Minderhoud’s and I can honestly say these two lofts between them, without doubt own the best Gaby Vandenabeele birds in the world and by working together can only improve perfection.
